Inspired by Nature

Danielle founded TurtleBay Jewelry in 2004 with a refreshingly directional, sustainable and deeply personal approach to creating fine jewelry. Having spent the majority of her life along the shore, maintaining that connection to sand and sea dominates her design process.

Her jewelry speaks to water lovers and coastal living enthusiasts all over, as her collections focus on seaside based regions across the globe. She deep dives into the culture surrounding a particular location and pulls out those ties to history and heritage in a focused grouping of collector driven and one-of-a-kind pieces.

Each of her collections feature compellingly illustrative & bold rings, pendant style necklaces and elegant earrings with hand-fabricated textures, and classic, clean lines. With a commitment to sustainability, all pieces are locally made from responsibly sourced & recycled 14K/18K Gold and .925 Sterling Silver.

Every TurtleBay Jewelry piece has a history — from the relationship with the artisan, to the life of the wearer. Each collection is designed with the intention of creating pieces that can be passed down through generations, with minimal waste and minimal carbon footprint. All of our jewelry is made by hand-fabrication techniques, based in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, with expertise in traditional metalsmithing and gemstone setting methods.
