TurtleBay Jewelry showcases the classic metalsmithing techniques of owner and designer Danielle Beaty.

Danielle has been crafting her unique style of nautically infused jewelry for over 15 years.  With a background in graphic arts, she translated those skills into jewelry design and found her niche within her passion for the sea:

"The ocean is a place of rebirth & renewal.  It engages all of our senses and is the one place that so many of us remain connected to long after we leave.  I believe jewelry is a talisman and should be worn to inspire, motivate & transform.  It should be a reflection of your true self and bring you a sense of harmony and purpose.  With these principals in mind, I strive to reconnect those bonds with my designs."

Her jewelry is handcrafted entirely in her studio, nestled along the inner banks of North Carolina, not far from Kitty Hawk.  She uses raw materials, blends mixed metals, poetry, prose, and coastal/nautical influences to create pieces that are of a rustic and soulful nature.  Working closely with nature conservation groups and many other organizations, her pieces range from those commissioned by Non-Profit groups to private collectors who continue to follow her work, as well as many fine retailers and private boutiques across the United States.
